What to bring
A kettle in the room opens things up
Whatever else is provided, a kettle means you can brew your own properly. It is the single most useful thing a hotel room can have if you care about coffee.
- An AeroPress Go or a collapsible pour-over cone
- Your own coffee, ground before you travel
- Coffee bags if you want to pack nothing at all
Not sure? Ask the hotel
The quickest way to a definite answer is a two-line message to the property. Here is one you can paste into their contact form, an email, or a chat. If they tell you, we would love to hear it — use the form below.

A traveller who was in the room last month is better evidence than any page we can crawl. This takes about twenty seconds and no account.
