Community guidelines
Traveller reports are the most valuable evidence on this site. Someone who stood in the room last month beats any page we can crawl.
What makes a good report
- Report what you saw, not what the booking page said.
- Give the month you stayed. It is the single thing that makes a report useful — a setup confirmed last month and one confirmed in 2022 are very different evidence.
- Say when you are not sure. “There was a pod machine but I did not notice the brand” is genuinely useful. A guess presented as fact is not.
- Mention the room type if you were in a suite or on a club floor. Setups often differ, and knowing which room you were in lets us record it correctly.
What we will not publish
- Complaints about staff, cleanliness or anything unrelated to coffee. There are better places for hotel reviews.
- Anything identifying an individual — a guest, or a member of staff.
- Marketing, promotional content or links.
- Reports that contradict our evidence with no indication you actually stayed.
- Abusive or discriminatory content of any kind.
How reports are handled
Every report is reviewed by a moderator before it affects anything displayed. Approved reports appear as anonymous traveller confirmations and feed into the confidence score for that hotel. Recent reports carry more weight than old ones.
If your report contradicts what we currently show, that is useful — it flags the hotel for re-research rather than being discarded.
Privacy
We do not ask for your name or email, and there is no field to provide them. Reports are published anonymously. See the privacy policy for what is stored.
Abuse
Submissions are rate-limited. Persistent false reporting will result in submissions from that source being rejected. To report content that should not be here, contact us.
