What to bring
A kettle in the room opens things up
Whatever else is provided, a kettle means you can brew your own properly. It is the single most useful thing a hotel room can have if you care about coffee.
- An AeroPress Go or a collapsible pour-over cone
- Your own coffee, ground before you travel
- Coffee bags if you want to pack nothing at all

“No tea/coffee in the rooms, which isn’t unusual for Spanish hotels, you could help yourself at a coffee station situated in reception, but if you want a hot drink first thing in the morning it’s very inconvenient!”

“We would have loved a little kettle in the room even if it was something you could hire, as an extra, upon request, as although there was free tea and paid for coffee in reception it is nice to have a drink facility in the room for when you wake up or late at night.”

A traveller who was in the room last month is better evidence than any page we can crawl. This takes about twenty seconds and no account.
