What to bring
A kettle in the room opens things up
Whatever else is provided, a kettle means you can brew your own properly. It is the single most useful thing a hotel room can have if you care about coffee.
- An AeroPress Go or a collapsible pour-over cone
- Your own coffee, ground before you travel
- Coffee bags if you want to pack nothing at all

“Big, clean room, excellent service from friendly staff, would be six stars if they a) put a coffee machine in the room and b) gave us some teaspoons!”

A traveller who was in the room last month is better evidence than any page we can crawl. This takes about twenty seconds and no account.
